This last season I caught my fox using fish scraps I had saved but for the next season I am wanting to grind up bait. For those that make your own bait, do you like to mix baits together or keep them separate? In my freezer right now I have fish scraps, mice I have been catching in the garage and rock chuck meat I saved for bait. I was thinking about mixing them together and giving that a try but I wonder if I should be keeping them separate instead. What are your thoughts on this?

If it was me I'd spent the next 6 months putting it front of the animals and see what they have to say about it. They won't steer you wrong

Keep some separate and mix some together. More bait combo to try. Like yessir says. Now it's time to test

Did very well a couple seasons on coyotes and cats with a bait I made from combo of ground up carp and ground muskrat, with a slight taint then preserved.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
