My brother in law is looking at 50k to have his teeth pulled and replaced. Apparently they put a titanium plate in then make new teeth that screws into it.

I dread going to the dentist. Six months comes by way too fast. I just hate spending an hour of my day there when I could be doing something fun.

They stuck the new thing they use for X-rays in the back of my throat,,,,

2 implants... $7800.

I had some infected teeth, so I had to postpone my knee surgery. $5,000 later those teeth were gone, and I had a new knee. They want 6.000 to put in 2 posts, I'm going to learn to eat without teeth for a while.

My wife went to a dentist who told her if she didn't have most of her teeth recapped, you would lose most of them within 5 years. It would cost around $15,000. She came home in tears and decided to get a second opinion. The new dentist didn't agree. This was about 20 years ago and she still has all the same teeth. She has had a couple teeth filled over the years is about all.

I've read that in Africa some tribes remove teeth to enhance intimacy.....

I've pulled 8 of my own teeth 0¢. My teeth have had bad enamel since I was a child. Went to dentist regularly and brushed and flossed like you should. But to no avail. Gum loss and tooth decay suck. Nothing worse than tooth pain. Lived without dental coverage from 20 - 50 years old. Paying the price in my older years now

I learned from the best….

I can still see my grandfather sitting at the end of the long farm house table, listening to the market report pulling his tooth……

I knew my Dentist long before he was my Dentist.We used to make Italian Sausage and Italian Liquor together.He ticks me off.They will have some kind of Go-Pro halfway down my throat,and a water squirting thing in there along with sharp tools,,and he expects me to answer when he asks,,how did your Garlick come out this year??Hows the kids and grand kids doin.I just flip him the bird.

Left work mid day because he thought he had the flu
Next day blood out of lungs , but and pee pee
Died 2 day later….
He went septic…….

Mouth heath realy is important.Can cause all kinds of problems.My butt head Dentist buddy says your mouth health and gut health determines how long you live.
