Idk about trans but there are plenty of gay chickens. Got a flock of layers with no rooster? Possible that one of the hens will start courting another. Two roosters can also end up together even with hens around. It's actually one of the animals that's gay most often afaik.

i've see several game hens that would crow. they never had a good sounding crow like a rooster but they would crow.
