With the numbers at some of the protests, I’m betting they may be a part of it….. track back all the fraudulent applicants, and fine or jail them. Better yet make then do forced actual labor someplace to repay their debt…. Highway litter crews, scrubbing city sidewalks, cleaning public restrooms….

I remember some years ago this guy claimed he got hurt at work and was totally disabled. A while later, in the sports section of a local newspaper, it listed him as hitting 3 homers in a softball game.

My wife wants me to wear a bracelet that belonged to her grandfather. It says, "Do Not Resuscitate".

Had to hit home runs because he could not run the bases.

Seriously there is a lot of fraud. On the other side there are people that are disabled and can't make it to work and work every day. That does not mean that they don't have some good days or even 3 or 4 hours a day they can get out and do a little. Sure that may put them down totally for another several days with a lot of pain and taking a lot of pills. Point Is just because you see a small glimpse of someones day does not mean you saw want they had to go through to get to where you saw them or what they will go through after.

I will tell you You won't know what mom went through with cancer and related treatments. But now and then she would have a good day and get dressed nicely put on makeup and go shopping or out to eat for a bit. She would only be good for an hour or two if that sometime just getting ready was enough to wear her out and she would not go anywhere.

When my balance gets off and legs don't want to function few would notice. I still manage to get to work and work even though I probably should not. But that comes and goes. Will it be a few hours or a few day maybe weeks? If it ever gets to where I can't push through and work and become to unsafe(probably is when i have teouble getting my legse to work) . If I'm having a good few hours and out doing something on the farm you would just assume it's fraud without knowing or carrying to know any more.

Hopefully I never end up in that boat but I'm going to tell you when it's a struggle to move your legs and you randomly loose your ballance it's scary and a lot of things go through your mind you never thought would. You also start having more empathy and give others the benefit of doubt.

My boss had a guy come work for about a month, the guy couldn’t hang with the rest of us, so we said lay him off or fire him, we’re tired of it. So after he was gone for a week, he suddenly had an injury on the job none of us knew about…he was collecting workers comp for 8 months (getting a full paycheck as if he was worth a darn in the first place) until our company attorney found pictures of the guy helping pack out an elk on Facebook, which made him look not so very injured nor disabled

Many to most of the protesters are being paid to protest. There are a bunch of videos of protesters being bussed in. There a bunch of videos of most of the protesters leaving all at the same time. There are a few videos of protesters watching their watches and telling everyone to go at a certain time, who is on the clock. Their is a lot of foul language both being shouted and on signs, so they can't be posted here. Just search "protesters leave at noon.", " protesters watching time" and "protesters being bussed in" to find the videos.

Years ago, we had a part time girl working for us. She was a very good worker, had a great personality, and was a perfect fit for our business. She had a child and was never married. We offered her a full time job and a good raise. She told one of our other ladies, she loved working for us, but found out if she had another child she could get paid well and have other benefits such as MA by the state and not have to work at all. She turned our offer down. Not insurance fraud, but another type of fraud, IMO. Only in liberal Minnesota.

Cranking out children you can’t pay to take care of should not be a career option. If anything they should get booted off at kid #2. Making the taxpayer pay for some idiot to make the same mistake twice (or more) is ridiculous. Ladies, that means if a guy doesn’t have the life skills to procure a paycheck for himself, don’t have his kids. Gentlemen, if you can’t afford to raise children, you probably can’t afford to deal with the woman who was going to have them anyways, and even if you can, a dog will save you money and headaches (and always be happy to see you)

I think a condition of receiving welfare should be mandatory birth control, until you are no longer a parasite on other Americans. We don't need more non productive people. Like produces like is a fairly true statement.

The state actually pushes welfare. A fellow I work with is married with two young kids. His wife was told by a government employee if she would "separate" from him, her and their children could receive $250 a month in food stamps. The official said to just pull their camper onto the land and that could count as his "residence".
I guess the official is just making sure the state has plenty of business which is good for retaining government employment.

I’m confused with this story. The federal government doesn’t have an unemployment insurance program….states pay UC. The federal government did pay benefits under the CARE Act during COVID. Is that what this article is referring to?

It’s federally overseen. The state pays the unemployment, but they get their funding from above, and Uncle Sam likes to reserve the right to step in and make sure the money was divvied up appropriately.
