Working in garage digging out things from my buried treasures. First one is something I really only used when running open water rat line from boat. Did most of that with stoplosses set slides. Anyways Bogmaster showed me this trick many years ago now. So he will know what it is.


Second photo it is also dug out of the pile. 20 some years old maybe. I will say it is pickled in vodka
. You can guess what it is.

I am guessing the second picture is of your Gall Bladder you had removed 20 years ago.

RdFx is right about the 110 on stick. It was what Bogmaster called rat snapper.

The glands in the jar of vodka are hold over from when I was doing a lot of skunking. Was chatting with Asa Lennon about skunks and skunk lure. He said if I wanted to try tincture and saving the pods. After I drew off the juice out clean the fat off the pods put them in the vodka. So figured I give it a try threw those couple dozen in jar.. I did use some of that vodka skunk on bear baits at first. But was easier to just use full quill. So that jar just got set aside to steep and I just tossed the pods again.
