I caught this brownie 3 years ago, but that picture is on another phone
This is what he looked like last year

He was 15ish and 2 lbs or so
This is today

18ish and close to 3 lbs
Can't wait for next year

Neat i have a back yard fish that I see and feed a lot just like that one.....jk

different fish the spots dont match

And over here I thought they did match.

I would say they match. Same fish. Fin is in different position and some of the spots have faded.

It looks like the same fish to me too. I would eat it.

Maybe it's the only one in that body of water .....then it's 100%

I assure you it's the same fish, if you look behind the first fin you will see spots that form a W. It's not a stocked creek that this trout lives in so not too much pressure on them.
I had another brownie that I kept tabs on and caught 7 times over 9 years before a young fellow caught and kept him. He was just over 24" and just north of 6lbs, it was a sad day but it meant it was time to find a new friend. LoL
