A friend close by is much better than a brother far away, especially if one is sick or bleeding out.

Actual friends? Or acquaintances? Like Bruce, I have thousands of trapping acquaintances. Some I really like, and those may someday become friends, and some I don't really like at all. But internet friends?? Let me see. 5, I guess. I've met all but one of those in person. Meeting them in person is not a prerequisite for them becoming a friend, but it helps. Still, the one I've not met is every bit as much of a friend as those that I have.

I have internet friends that I have never met before. Here included but some people from back with AOL IM was the new hot thing in the 90's that I still talk to that I have never personally met.

My only social media is Trapperman.com and I've met quite a few people on here that I'd consider friends. Been to several states trapping conventions and met quite a few I've talked to only on here before that and all were good people. Now do they consider me a friend that's a totally different question lol

I would say 2-3 internet friends. Plenty of acquaintances.

One Chica on here has more friends on trapperman than everyone else combined has.......lol

He is a stand up guy, and an excellent trapper (also pretty handy with a camera). This time of year I’d imagine he’s getting his trapping season wrapped up and waiting for bears to start waking up, like we all are

I only have the ones on here. I don’t even have Facebook or anything so obviously none there!

I don't even have any real life friends. Maybe a couple hundred wonderful acquaintances. They can be best described as someone who you can tolerate for 1 hour and 30 minutes before you are ready for them to leave so that you can go back to where you are ultimately more comfortable. By yourself.
And yes, the 30 minutes is charity so as not to seem rude.
