Excuses being concocted by the left to oppose SAVE Act are beyond idiotic. One is married women won't be able to vote as name on birth certificate different than on driver's license. Never mind the fact that almost all married women already have the real ID they need to drive, get in a plane or anything else such an ID is required for. It will also work to register to vote.

BTW, I voted in local election this week and had to produce an ID to vote. The county issued voter card would have worked, but I gave them my driver's license. Wasn't paying attention as was talking to an elections judge who also happens to be a lady who buy's eggs from me. But I think they scanned a copy of that or took a photo of it to add to my voter record. They also asked for me to sign in.....with one of those digital finger deals. That signature was no more than a scribbled mark that didn't even come close to my actual signature. So much for a signature match. Any state that would accept that as the only verification a person is who they say they are has no security or verification at all.

there is only one reason alone any retail location would go through the trouble to install the software to read the code on the reverse side of any persons real ID and that is to capture all of the information on the front side for a search database and also to sell your information. there is a valid reason we had to go to a format such as the real ID but it certainly isnt for others to exploit us. Everything they need to see is in one location on the front and you need not hand them the ID for them to verify your age.

Here, we have to show I.D. to buy alcohol, because apparently there is something on a driver's license that tells the vender if you are restricted from buying alcohol. I think it is DWI thing. So don't always beat up on the clerk.

it isnt the clerks issue to begin with, if they want a job there, they better look at and or scan the ID or not make the sale. That nonsense isnt from the clerks but an attempt from corporate folks to collect data to sell to others. Greed if i may.

If you pay for things with a credit card.......or as I do with a debit card........places like Walmart know everything you have bought for past several years. They know you better than you know yourself. Same with cell phones that are always listening.....computers tracking key strokes. If used for marketing, it's one thing. But to follow and profile you......that's a whole different thing. Big Brother....and all his cousins......are watching you. Orwell only missed it by 40 years.
