Preface; I am only saying this to Believers, I can not make any judgement on others. If you wouldn't sit down and pound down four or five Cokes, but you try to justify pounding down four or five beers, you had better be looking at your motives.

My aunt Tanya drinks two or three beers every night and has been drinking beer her entire adult life. She’s never called off work, is a friend to everyone she meets, and is one of the most beloved people in my small circle. She is happy, generous and kind. Never bothers anyone or asks anyone for anything. Will be 70 this spring. I say let her have her beer.

^^^ I drink way more beer than soda, soda has zero redeeming qualities imo. I'm just attempting to make a point that believers need to be truthful with themselves.
I had a friend who was trying to justify pounding down five or six beers in quick order. He said it was no different than drinking a Coke. I asked him when the last time he sat down and drank six Cokes in 30 minutes.....never.
