Being I am obviously a Kansas guy, I have been on a business trip for three days or a lifetime in Lubbock here this week. And in honor of the boards man’s kind of man Mr Savell, I decided to partake in a Lone Star for the first time! In all honesty it was really good not what I expected at all. It was very much like a Miller Lite and I don’t mean that in bad way as that’s pretty much what I drink anyway. Not a heavy dark beer kind of guy so it was dang good.

When you head back home you should go east to Ralls then North to Floydada so you can pick up 207 through the Palo Dura state park. It's well worth the drive.

That canyon is amazing. Not hard to see why ancient people spent so much time there.

No doubt Danny
Did ya ever head down south on 207 from the Loves at Conway with a loaded wagon? If I remember right, it is 11% grade down and back up the other side.

Lefty I have done that, and yes you are tooling along at eighty and then whoa what is this! I enjoy coming down here but as always in my line of work Ag it’s always water is the limiting factor! Gets to be depressing after awhile.. but there is a chance for rain this weekend all we can do is hope!,

Ace I was always takin feeder cattle down that way to a big Caprock yard @ Lockney and was not brave enough to visit the guys at the scale house south of Armadillo. Good times LOL.
I'd darn sure stop at that Loves to get an energy drink and a cigar so's I'd be awake when I took the plunge.
