Here’s a video of a concept truck from case tractor company, for the old timers they maybe bringing back the binder. grin I wonder if a two wheel drive will be like a sow on ice like the old ones.

just we need, more over priced loaded up boy toys. crazy

Another $75-100K truck, sheesh.

No thanks. If I had to get a pickup it would be an older one, at least 20 years or more, and I'll fix it up and it'll be setup the way I want it.
It would cost alot less than new.

I like the look.
It resembles a cut up Toyota
Put a small diesel in it that works and down to UT for the test…

I remember reading a couple of years ago that the media mogul Ted Turner had bought a small bunch of pickups and Suburban's from GM to use as utility vehicles on his ranch. He had them custom altered at the factory by removing the carpet and replacing it with a rubber floor. It was probably hand made and fitted by hand as GM had not offered that option for those vehicles when built.

Rubber floors are super easy to take of , I miss them.

I always wondered how it would work if you bought one in Mexico and drove it back. Register it as an off rode vehicle like a utv or buy a totaled one from junk yard and use that Vin?

trouble with pickup trucks is they are primarily geared towards people who don't need a truck but want one for status/statement.

Chevy's plainest pickup (1/2 ton silverado, std cab 8ft box, 2wd) starts at $40,000. It comes loaded up with crap that I wouldn't want in a truck, a work truck at that.

No manual trans, and all sorts of luxury junk that just makes it less durable and reliable.

Nobody makes a plain work truck for a guy that just needs it to do a job and thats all.

Only way we wold see that is if if folks refused to buy the the ones they are selling now they are calling a pick up. The chicken tax is a sticking point as well. Congress needs to get out of way and let capitalism take back over

They call a Nissan Frontier a midsized truck it looks as big as the old trucks 20-30 years ago I just don’t get the logic nothing midsized about it.
