We, I made it 6 years on my trolling motor batteries, and its time for new ones. I am not looking to get lithium batteries. Have any of you went with Rural Kings brand for TM batteries? If so, are you happy with the performance? Thanks for any input!

I've not tried those. I've been very happy with the ones from WalMart.

Are you all using deep cycle batteries?

At this price why wouldn't you look at lithium? I have zero issues with mine

Are you running one battery for your TM, or 3?

I run 2 12v for a 24 v system but mostly do to space where i put them , the link is for 1 battery for a 36 v system. When UPS dropped my batteries off the guy got out of the truck with both stacked up and carried them to the door. The weight savings is huge like the battery in the link is only 32 lbs or something crazy like that

I got 12 years out of my last set of three Interstate deep cycles.

Look at Dr. Prepare lithium batteries. $150 each. I use the 100ah mini size. 22 pounds each. You need a specific lithium charger. Look at MinnKota precision charger. The lowest price is on amazon.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStar...D&classType=REGULAR&from=/search This is the ones I use. I have three of various ages but none are newer than 4 years. Fully charge them after every use. They last all day.

I am going to go to Wally World today. I don’t really want to go with lithium batteries because I want to stick with my 4 bank charger that takes care of all 4 batteries. The weight of the batteries is not an issue in my boat, due to the size.
I have never had problems with batteries lasting all day, even in the rivers heavy current! My son and I fish the big rivers often. We drift using the TM set to control the drift speed in the current, while we walk baits down river, for big blue catfish.
Thanks for all of the replies and suggestions!

I went with Walmart batteries. Now my main battery is toast, so I am going back after another! I have talked myself into adding a dedicated battery for my electronics!

Hope you have as good of luck with them as I have. Remember to charge them at the end of everyday you use them. I believe that really helps. I use 2 amp. charge.

I looked real hard at these but it sounds like they have a LOT of problems.

What’s more, when you have an issue, getting it cleared up seems difficult as they have no US based customer service.
