I heard they stink something awful when you’re gutting them. Like worse than regular critters . Are you roasting him whole or just eating the breast meat?

I debone the breast and cut into chunks to be deep fried. Thighs and legs go into separate bag to be boiled off for gumbo later. I keep the heart for myself. Liver and gizzard goes to my Lab. I save as many of the feathers as I can for future bobcat sets.

Good one. Son and I had one that wouldn't cooperate. Most importantly though good times.

My son and I both connected this morning. He killed his shortly after fly down. I didn’t hear a gobble until 9am. Finally worked one in at 11:15. I love those late morning hunts.
