Rich Kasper gave me some badger gland lure for coyotes. What he did with them I have no clue. Somebody on here my be in contact with him. It caught coyotes. I didn't think it was great.

Thanks Danny. Years ago before Dirk Miller passed away he sent me some Badger/coyote gland mixtures. 3 different formulas. I had the same results. They all caught coyotes but really nothing better than anything else.

Badgers has been one of my projects this summer. I chopped up 3 frozen carcasses, everything except the jaws and hide.
They have been Rotting Down all summer, in a double container to keep the bugs out.
Greasy Badger's, I have pulled off 3 quarts of Oil so far. Still producing a little oil. Dark strong smelling oil. My test dogs will eat it.
The rotting process has slowed down and mellowed out. Most of the bones have settled to the bottom of the bucket.
I plan to semi freeze what's left in the bucket and run some of it through a grinder??? Then preserve it.
Will need to make some test holes and see what happens with this badger soup experiment?
Curiosity, might be the main attraction of badger?

Very interesting. They are certainly full of grease! Didi you gut them first befor rendering? If you want to part with a pint or so of the oil be sure to let me know. Im thinking to blend some straight gland in with that oil.

No, I did not gut them this time.

Grinding Badger, is Not easy! I have a half gallon of ground badger meat to work with for now.

The original badger bucket is going back in the sun, for more ageing time.

E.J. I would be glad to send some Oil to you no charge. PM. me your info, and give me a few days to get it shipped.
