Do all of the commercial baits and lures have a shelf life, or are they good from season to season?

Keep it in a dry place out of the sun and it will keep probably as long as you will be trapping.

I think you will find that baits and their prime shelf life will vary from one producer to another. Some may last until it is all used up. Others may show breakdown and odor change if held over for more than one season if not used up.

Main thing I hear is skunky baits lose some if not all of their skunky smell Others than that I’ve used baits, lures and urines several years old with great success.
