I went down that rabbit hole

Ended up with a 2 nozzle teejet setup on a standard atv spray rig

This is where I input all my info to get correct nozzle for application

My son picked up one for cheap at Tractor Supply. It was a return and he figured it was either a line stopped up or a pump problem. Either way, it was a good buy for the price. Turned out to be a stopped up line. Easy peasy fix.

We run it in the bed of my side by side. We have to flush it out after we use it to keep it from stopping up again. I don't have the model or size particulars but we sprayed Round Up on 16 acres with it last year. It has a 10' or 12' boom and a hand wand.

I've got several of them I use for different jobs.

Really just depends on how much you are spraying acreage wise and what species and height you are spraying.

If I had to pick only one spray rig that suits most of the things I do, then it would be a REMCO model 5517-1I1-63B for the pump.
And a boomless sprayer with 3 nozzles and XT0-20 tips on the nozzle size.

They are efficient and get the job done. Can always buy and rig up a wand if needed, or just by a tank with a wand and fit it with the boom..

I run over 100 acres/year on this small electric UTV rig and it will last up to two years working it hard. It absolutely does require winterizing with RV antifreeze though. Chancey

Sorry, Gary,

I should have read your post more clearly. What I just recommended would not be good for an ATV, but rather a UTV. Chancey

It does not take much to overload an ATV, especially when you have liquid sloshing around in a tank. On a side hill, that is a recipe for a bad day.

The 25 gal on demand tank on the front of my 4 wheeler gets a lot done with the wind here using Grazon next but if I’m doing the neighbors and my lots the boom on a calm day is ideal for that. I never run both at the same time it’s one or the other the 45 gal tank is fine on flat areas the 25 gal is better for the river hills.
