The one I have that will never be using again are the ones that I cough my “. First” in. And personal ones given to me by people that ment something to them.

My buddy had a nice Newhouse collection the last time I visited him they had price tags on every one of them I asked him what’s up with that? He said when I die I don’t want the wife to get cheated I thought that was smart.

My wife can sell them all for a dollar a piece when I'm gone. I won't know or care. Shell also have a ton of fishing stuff, boats, guns etc... to deal with. . I'm hanging on to most of them. I do donate traps every year to veterans and kids.

Like Vinke, I have a few that I'll never use again because of sentimental value.
Back in fall of 89 I was running a crane at a scrapyard. One day I walked by a pile of steel scrap and saw a half-dozen traps laying by the edge. They were Northwoods 1.75's. When I checked the ID tags that were still attached I was shocked to see that thy had belonged to my recently deceased brother.
Turns out my uncle had tossed them in with a load of steel scrap when he was cleaning out my brother's stuff after his death.
I kept them and put them into service. I caught several fox with each of them then decided to retire them before they were lost or stolen. I boiled, dyed and waxed them and they've been hanging on the wall in my home office along with a sifter he made ever since.
Eh...wot?

Nice remembrance. The fox add to it.

Heck...I'm about to buy more.
I need a few more MB750s and a few more Belisle 330s for nuisance beaver work.
And now a dozen or two of #11 longsprings would be handy on 2 coon jobs I'm doing.
