I was at my neighbor's house recently and he showed me a pair of never used, still-in-the-box Jon-E hand warmers.

I remember using them back in the 70's. They stank and irritated my leg when I had them in my pocket...but they kept your hands warm.

Switched to the charcoal stick hand warmers after that.

Yup, still have a couple pack away as backup to the hot pockets. And we transitioned to the solid fuel stick heater and now to the disposable Hot Pocket heaters which are far more versatile as to where you can place them.
