I’ve got several that now hang with my antique traps.. some belonged to a few freinds who are running traplines with JESUS now.

I don't anticipate a problem. The older I get the more often I forget a trap when I'm picking up my line so I figure by the time I hit 90 they'll all be gone anyway.

I moved a few years ago and sold off all my older stuff and collectors. I bought a bunch of new stuff and it's still, mostly, new. Some are still in the shipping boxes, unopened. Sadly, I doubt I will ever run more than a few traps again.

My biggest fear is my wife will sell them for what I said I paid for them. 😂🤣

Dont think I'll ever see the otter market high again. And if so, I wouldn't be able to run at it hard like I've done in the past. So, I released 4 dozen Belisle 280s last year. Kept 21 but I don’t use them much. Still use the 330s for beaver work.

Been trying to sell all my traps and all the things that go with trapping all I get is low balled and all I ever wanted was was a reasonable price for alot of good trapping gear wont ever use it, May cut it up for scrap out of sight out of mind.

I have 4 dz mj600 I have never used because the property I trap has a lot a ag traffic. I lose about 12 traps a year to tractors and skid steers.so out come the Duke 550’s

I have more modified #3 bridgers than I'll ever use, some might not have been used since I trapped in Wyoming, I'll probably never use my drags unless I go back to Wyoming, drags are useless in iowa

I'm pretty sure I won't use the 550 I found with the mower again. unless they get destroyed they will be used just maybe not all at once.

The Younger trappers here have a habit of stealing them .Dont have to worry about saving or selling. Hope its not that way everywhere.

Same here. I've got several large totes full that haven't seen the light of day for many years

I have a bunch I pick up at WTA auctions every year. Mostly give em away at events or to new trappers. Given a couple away on the side of the road to new trappers I've run into on the line that had improper gear for their targeted animal. I'm no good at selling my stuff, it's mine and I won't sell it, but... show me a need and I'll just hand it over lol. Not sure why that is.

lot of traps on face book and other places for sale and a year later are on it again lot of guys with traps for sale dont bother going to conventions any more lot of trap piles in the back by the wood pile out of the shed dont know why any body would have problem finding traps at bargain prices ive had a lot of guys offer to give them to me just to get rid of them post an ad what you want and willing to give you might be surprised how many you can get
