What are these two traps worth? No rust. A friend came across them and knew I was into traps and gave them to me along with other new house parts. Id like to give him what they're worth. I’m guessing $250 on the 41/2 and $100 on the 4. The #4 might be what they call a Texas special but I’m not positive. There are some extremely knowledgeable guys here and soon enough they will chime in. People are busy in the spring so let this post soak a few days and they will respond.

I would say roztocki is very close to price. Looks like Jiffy trap setters? Maybe $15-$20 a piece. The bear trap setters unsure, depends on if they are original or after market. There are others that know better.

The #4 1/2 is missing the drag and should also have a snap, the chain should be on the base, not the spring. About $250 as is. The #4 raised letter pan has the wrong springs, they look to be Victor springs, not Newhouse. The springs in the other photo, next to the Jiffy trap setters look to be Newhouse but may be #3 size. The jaws do look to be heavier than regular offset jaws, if so, that would make it Texas Special. As is, $75-125. The #4 setting clamps look to be Newhouse and are the last model. $75 each.
