I had 2 great horned owls come in on me while I was calling coyotes once. I whipped my camo mask off as quick as I could when the first one came flying at me.

About 25 years ago I was turkey hunting the high country and a coyote jumped from down below me right at feet. I was kind of in a dug out the hill had bench cliffs. d the holy crap out of me. I had the gun in my lap I picked it up and shoot it at about 10 feet. I was lucky I didn't blow my feet up. I packed up and went home.

I realize this is rare but it is always in the back of my mind when I'm sitting in thick woods with a shotgun blowing on a rabbit distress call. Not the first time I've heard of this happening.

Buddy texted me from MO had one at 15 yards today I would have loved to of been there to see it.

My cousins neighbor got jumped a few years back by one got his face clawed up

I've had lots of bears come in looking for a turkey dinner and a few coyotes. Only one bobcat but I was never attacked.

Guy was lucky he didn't lose an eye.

Called a coyote to my decoy. It came in at full speed and jumped over me after passing with inches of my hen decoy.

I had a friend who went turkey hunting with this girl. She was an experienced hunter.

They sat together with their backs up to a big tree. He was calling , she was the shooter.

As he was calling , without a sound or warning a bobcat jumped into her lap. Realized it's mistake in a split second and took off as quickly as it came. Camo definitely worked.

Had a bobcat jump on my head years a go, was predator calling. Like he said hit hard .

I had a small bear get to within 20' before I turned around, as soon as it sen my face it run off. I heard it walking through the tall grass and thought it was a human.
