Anyway these are hand stiched from a batch of furs I had tanned at Moyles years ago. They are patterned after C Russells painting the Free Trappers . Have tooled leather brims, leather head band, lined in muslin. Except for the grey fox they are all prime Montnan fur Last edited by MTtraps; 04/27/25 04:09 PM.

No I made the brim from 9 oz veg tanned leather I use for sheaths and such and the inside headband is 5 oz chrome tanned
