Things are getting hot and heavy around my place the last couple of weeks. I believe I am located in the middle of Gobbler country.

These boys are showing off for a local gal that is playing hard to get. I can hear gobbling coming from all points of the compass lately.

When we had dogs you rarely saw any birds, I would hear them, however, now its like they have moved in to stay. They are quite daring and show no interest in me while doing chores.

That's always fun to watch. Get a cheap plastic mirror from Walmart out there and it can get really interesting.

You won't see any mole mounds on my acreage. I took 117 off of my place 5 years ago in 17 days. It really broke their nursery area habits. Not many moles safe in these parts. We have mostly hairy tail moles in our area.

The neighbor gal that works for us just mowed our 3 acres of lawn the day before, so it did look nice. The day before it was a jungle around here.
