We have two types of mosquitoes down here! One flies through the screen door and the other one opens the screen door!!

I had my second mosquito of the year on me yesterday evening, while I was weeding potted up elderberry bushes and topping the pots with peat moss.

Yep. They land needle first. They don't buzz around shopping for just the right spot. They burn right from the get go too.
They get so thick around here, you're more worried about choking to death on them rather than get bit up.
