Don’t know if you guys have heard about this yet,, but some guy fell a long way down out of the stands at the cubs-pirates game last night.
He was drunk and got excited,, jumped up too fast and lost his balance.
He’s in critical condition as of this morning.
MLB is now probably gonna institute some kind of beer restriction now

I kind of feel sorry for the guy but when it's self induced, the sympathy level goes down a bit.

I guess geting drunk is probably the only way to enjoy watching pro baseball. He must have heard the hit after absolutely nothing going on the last several endings and got excited and not realizing he was as drunk untill standing up. Except maybe golf has to be one of the most boring sports to watch.

At all three sports venues in Pittsburgh, you need to take out a second mortgage to get buy enough beer to get drunk. Crazy food and drink prices.

Ya, the guy was drunk… eyewitness said that the guy was pouring beer all over himself and just being a silly drunk..when a play was made, he got excited and jumped up to cheer,, probably didn’t realize he was as drunk as he was ( most of us have been there,, drink too much while sitting down and then stand up) and lost his balance and over he went. You can see that he tried in vain to catch himself.
As far as I know,, he’s in critical condition with a cracked skull.

Always heard if you think watching baseball is boring you don’t understand the game.

Apparently it's to get drunk and take a 20' header. It was fun to play but that's most sports. Watching not so much. If you like seeing how well a guy can pitch for 9 innings and see 1 to 3 runs and just a few hits have at it. It's not something I consider fun, exciting, or entertaining.

There could potentially be a lawsuit… the guy who fell was a college football player who was not even of legal drinking age… was 20.
If they run the cards and find out he purchased alcohol there,, it could turn into some serious legal issues.
I don’t know if PNC park is a cashless system or not.. but I know for a fact that wrigley and Busch stadium are.

Looks to me like he jumped up, grabbed railing to lean over and yell/cheer at play. Railing hit him below waist and flipped him over. That railing looks too low to me. And he looks too drunk.
