Put these 8 foot LED lights in the storage container I bought a couple of years ago but this light setup would work well in a fur shed with basic power. 5 lights on one circuit is what they recommended no wall wiring needed but they come with other wiring options. I just butted them end to end with adaptive plugs and plugged the cord into a switched set of sockets that I switch separated from direct power.

So the 20 amp GFIC plug is the bottom box then another power plug under the on/ off switch is in the middle that powers 2 plugs above it (top) controlled by the switch for lights on/off. I was not sure the GFIC would work with the light switch power change but the LED lights are instantly powered no flickering surge problems.

I didn’t want to drill a bunch of holes in the container walls but I found a sealed framing channel above the doors that I could pop rivet the clips to hold the lights up. That’s where I planned on putting the light to begin with anyway for the best use of lighting. I need to fill in the last part of the string the 8 foot light would not fit because of the construction design not enough room. I’ll just put a 6 foot light of the same brand in that spot.

Looks great!!! Would work really well in a trap shed or work area.

I spent more time running power and digging a trench to run the power to it than a couple hours to hang the lights. LOL I felt better with GFIC in the line it being all steel.

What model of light is that Jerry. I keep burning the walmart LED shop lights out in a few months that I run in our Fish Oil rendering cargo container. Not sure if it is due to the gas off process interferring with the circuitry or not. Might need a more sealed unit type of light.

I have been doing the 4 foot LED in my basement
they all come with a cord and hang from little chains

each one has an outlet opposite the cord end for linking one to the next

so that are easy to link together , each one has a pull cord if you want to use it to turn them off the outlet stays hot when you turn the light off with the pull cord.
