I recently went to the doctor to get regular blood tests done and i asked the doctor to check my testosterone. I have been lacking in energy and drive to get my work done. I am not feeling the same. Sure enough my testosterone level was below the low limit. My results came back at 185. My question is have any of you had any experience (good/bad) with TRT? Im just wanting to gather info on what i should do.
Thanks
Mark

Well, you can live your life in the dumps or fix it. They should check for blood thickness, as thats spose to be the threat or additional risk for heart attack. It’s common in peoplr with sleep apnea. Take the enclomiphene/clovid so your boys dont whither away. I would do it.
Or, docs can pump you full of anti-depressants. Then you can get on yet another med thatll stop you from wanting to kill yourself while on meds that stop you from being depressed. Kidding, dont do all that, do the TRT.

my dad had a similar issue , they have a deodorant like stick T and also a injection

I think he has been doing the injections once a week for several years , just a little needle and stick it in the fatty bits on the belly and inject.

the topical works but if your wife touches it they absorb it also. also there was a price difference.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

A couple places in Sioux Falls advertise on the TV that claim they deal/fix stuff like that and put some pep in your step.

Low T treatments can greatly increase your risk of cancer I am told. My Drs. cautioned me on their use.

Maybe it’s the way it’s supposed to be? My grandad died at 94 and he never slowed down until he had a stroke just before he passed. I’m 61 and I sure am slowing down but remembering grandad he did stretches every morning and now I am and I really think what we eat has a lot to do with it. So I am trying to eat better and by pass the lab rat-stuff. Wasn’t Covid enough?…

Just repeating what my PCP and urologist stated to me a few months ago during a check up for low energy and age related issues. There are risks associated with T treatments particularly in seniors. Cardiac events are prone to those that take that step as I understand things.

Peeler, that's a classic case. Hard to know if it's the symptom or the cause.

I've read where body fat has a lot to do with testosterone levels. Apparently, excess fat leads to a loss of testosterone and an increase in progesterone. I'm a, relatively, fit 55 year old. At least, according to my female lover. blush
