First picture is the old 1972 International Scout with 3 reds and a coon caught at one stop. Old Scout was great except I was covered with fleas when I got home. As stated previously it held 104 coons. On a trapping trip to Arkansas some locals smashed the side windows out of it, thinking I was trapping coons but I was catching the beaver they did not want to catch. I talked with them and we got it straightened out but the ride back to New Jersey was frosty in late January.

Building behind me was the Beemerville one room school. 5 generations of Spaces went there, my father and his 2 sisters were the last, it closed in 1938. My grandfather bought it and it became the feed house where all the feed for mink, fox and the zoo animals was mixed (6 tons a day).

What year did you first become aware of coyotes. Here in north central Pa, I hear about people having trap broken by something as early as the '60s, even in the 50's but by the 80's they were occasionally seen and caught or shot while hunting. First one I saw was road killed in 1982 or 83, by the '90s they were everywhere. Pa guys correct me if you think my timing is wrong......jk

I think your about right, if I remember correctly it was about the mid 70's in the N. Catskills
