My other place is 125 miles away, but I’m there 2-3 days a week. In the summer, I’ll stay for a week sometimes. I have a big garden there, a half dozen bee hives, and about 30 fruit trees. I have everything there that I have at my home.

We used to have a river cabin on the Gasconade, but kids sports when they were in high school made it to where we were barely using it. Got tired of only going there to mow grass. Rented it out for a couple years and then finally sold it. It had never been flooded, but did so 2 of the first 3 years the new owners had it. Felt. Ad for them but glad it wasn’t me.
