What is the all time best selling trap? My guess would be the number 1 Victor longspring.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I would guess Victor mouse trap I'd bet this is the correct answer. I agree and would add to that their wooden rat trap. Haven't seen a better one on the market.
As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

In the book "The steel trap in North America " when you research a trap it will show you how many were made each year. I have to agree with the Victor #1 longspring. Yes, I do understand that if ten million traps were made in one year they may not all have sold that year. But I believe they sold within a few years of production.

Been thinking on this some more...."All time" might just be the #1 longspring....Bet the 1 1/2 coil sold best during the fur boom years up until present, but that might be proven wrong as well.

I should have specified trap for fur bearing animals, that would eliminate the mouse trap. All time is the key, the coil spring has not been around as long as the long spring.
