Define “big tree”. It means something different to all of us

Fair enough. Do you actually cut from both sides? I just walk the bar nose around to establish where my far corner will be, then work the power head back to me until it guns up true. I’m genuinely curious about how people do things over east, Montana is as far as I’ve gone. I’m running 34” or 36” unless I have a reason to break out the big irons

Big enough to kill you is a big tree in my book and it doesn’t take much of a tree to do that. LOL

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Most people are killed by trees under 10” dbh. It’s a complacency issue, people respect trees they perceive as large, but they don’t think much about small ones. The reality is, even a little whippy tree landing on you will strike you harder than Barry Bonds nailing you with a baseball bat
