Hello, I am looking into going big on skunk this fall. I am wondering what brand of 120 you guys use for them. I have a couple of Belisle's that worked great this spring but they are very expensive.

My local trapping supply store carries Duke and Bridger 120's for almost half the price. I find that very desirable as money is tight but I want to make sure I'm getting a humane killing trap.

Any thoughts would be helpful

Get the dukes. Bridgers have a super tight spring eye, makes them a pain to set, and they occasionally misfire because of it

Ya Duke 120 magnums are decent-Belisles are by far the best though-they kill skunks dead dead dead

Between a Duke and Bridger… get the Duke hands down. Bridger did this funny thing with there spring eyes and made them extremely small making them more difficult to set. And on the 120’s specifically out of the box I’ve had numerous traps that won’t stay set, when you go to place them on the ground they trip themselves so you have to do some more file work. I sold the Bridgers as they just weren’t worth the headache

I'd go with the dukes if I only had those two choices

But I prefer the Victor 120's with 4 way trigger. 95% or more are stopped in their tracks.

Thanks for the responses guys. I think I will give the budget Duke traps a try. For the price it's hard not to give them a chance
