With portabella mushrooms, onions and potatoes, it’s what’s for dinner.

The youngest camp member usually catches cooking duty. Luckily he’s pretty good at it.

Nice bird lugnut. I'm glad to see

your camp cook knows enough to just warm the back strap and not burn it.

I cooked chicken quarters on the grill

I'm jealous. But I have some fresh oysters in my fridge to sooth the pain.

Nice bird Lug!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

It’s a 410 with TSS. My cardiologist told me no long guns until July after my open-heart surgery at the end of February. I figured they are an overly cautious bunch and I didn’t want to go to Turkey camp and just be a guide all week. So I borrowed the little 410 from a friend. It has almost no recoil and it got the job done.

I waited until he was at 17 yards to shoot though.

Eh...wot?

Lugnut It looks like life has been good for you lately To be able to spend time at hunting camp And have a young man doing the cooking because he is both good at it and enjoys it is the best of both worlds And looks like a really nice turkey No wonder you are smiling Congrats on that beast of a bird And it sounds like a really cool closing the deal to end the hunt using that 410

Great to hear you're well enough to do what you love with a little modification. Well done!

As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.
