I got off at 7 am and visited with mom a while then took her out for breakfast. After that to the store for a new vacuum after she said hers stoped working when we were talking at breakfast. Then when I got her back home I looked at her vacuum. Yep hose was plugged and filters had never been cleaned out. That's what happens when I take moms word when she sais she checked and took it all apart when I asked. Old vac worked and she has a.new back up in the box


The boys are going to take my wife out to do something today.. Though day for my wife. Once again it's our son that was killed birthday on mother's day. Fell on mother's day the first year he died also.

Watched the little hummers feeding this am on the porch drinking my coffee. Mom always liked the little humming birds.

Spent time with our kids and grand child in the morning and went and spent time with my mother this afternoon.

Kids and grandkids came up for mom and I barbecued for everyone.

Called her, saw her yesterday. There is no other like your mom. Besides no matter how you feel about your mom, they brought our crying,screaming arses into this world.

Called and talked with her. She is in isolation due to cancer treatment. Sure miss seeing her.

just because a woman spread her legs and got pregnant does not make her a mother or worthy of putting out if on fire. My adopted siblings birth mom springs to mind. She walked into a bar announced I'm pregnant and went directly the bathroom to shoot up. Yes it shows up the most in the youngest drug baby when he came out. All kind of developmental problems little to zero ability to see simple action and reaction. Last I heard just back out of jail and couch surfing again. I think he is 30 now? She is a real piece of work last I heard homeless and still into dope looking nearly dead. World will be a better place when she is.

I haven’t spoken to her in probably 7 or 8 years, not even sure if she’s still alive. And to be honest, it’d be okay if she weren’t

Miss my Mom alot, she passed 21 years ago. This is the first mother's day my wife was without her mom.

Missed her really bad

Both my mom and mother in law are gone.

Went out to dinner with my dad, wife, daughter, sister and niece on Saturday and then grilled out yesterday for the wife and daughter (they picked the menu) and helped the wife in the flower beds.

Did steaks, potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus on the Blackstone and a big ol ceaser salad.


If your mom's still around don't take it for granted.

called and talked with my mom in the morning.

she was going to spring dad from the hospital in the afternoon.
he had a heart procedure and got an infection the day they sent him home last Thursday.
so he got 3 more nights in the hospital.

took my wife and oldest to the Chicago institute of art , got my fill of Chicago driving for the year.
pushed her around in a wheel chair for a few hours , the cancer has made her get tired easy so this works to still get things in.

my 2 younger kids both have semesters ending this week and were finishing up final projects and studying for finals

my son who lives at home made her T-bones for supper , the other one is in MKE working on final project.

then talked with my mom again at night dad got out of the hospital but came home and went to bed after a little while.

we had gotten together with everyone last Sunday knowing this weekend was a scheduling issue , with finals and dads surgery.

This was my first Mothers' Day since my mom passed last fall. I went to visit where her ashes rest, and then visited my sister and BIL to reminisce about mom.
