you can get a new jeep that's a clone of an old jeep. It has a little diesel engine in it. they're not a kit though, they come fully assembled. Where can you purchase these?

for as many places around here that ATV/UTV can run on the roads almost not worth it but it can be done in some states.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

His is street legal and licensed. Some states are more liberal on licensing than others. He went through a 3rd party to get it licensed.

ROXOR linkThey are made by Mahindra. A guy i hunt with has one and loves it. Friend at works father in law had one of their tractors for his deer farm. It was always in the shop for warranty repairs. when the spindle on the front wheel broke off driving through his hay field he sold it for a loos after the warranty repair. This Is why I never seriously looked at these. Figured thay would hold up as well as the Chinese 4 wheelers dad bought the boys. always broken and had more $ in parts then they cost when purchased.

Back in early 1980s when I was still pounding nails for a living. We were doing replacement window job for a guy. Him and his son where rebuilding a old WWII Willie's in the garage. They had ordered and original military body for their frame they had. I was surprised that the body had come all the way from the Phillipines. Seem that they had been sent there during WWII and had stacks of them. I thought it odd that they could get it shipped from the Phillipines cheaper that getting it here in states. Another neat thing was the crate it was in. They made a point to take the crate apart very carefully. It was all msde of Teak wood and probably worth as much as what they paid for the whole jeep body. I thought it odd they use that heavy wood to ship it. But I guess if its what you have locally it cheap wood and available.
Interesting what military left behind as surplus not worth shipping back.

Keith In 1980 I seen a add for surplus Army Jeeps in a magazine. I sent a $3.49 money order to get the contact info of where to buy them. I was scammed, never heard from them and that was out of my lawn mowing money lol. Years later I did buy this 51 Willy's and me and Pop redone her but like an idiot I sold it. I really do think if they made them again they'd sell like crazy! ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/05/full-46733-257646-img_4755.jpg)
