Walked the dogs the June bugs are everywhere flying crawling around in the grass they struggled to focus on the task at hand.

Way early for them here. That is why they are called June bugs.:)

We get them in late July but typical in August.

I used some IBC totes as mini greenhouses over the Winter. I just cut them in half and set them over the plants on the ground. I had some June bugs come out in them in February. The heat the totes collected must have gotten the ground to the right temperature for the June bugs to metamorph and emerge.

I saw some 3 weeks ago.

They're May beetles for a couple more weeks then they transform into June bugs 6/1

I try to keep my yard limed up heavy....it helps keep them away
