Red and Gray Foxes.
The first picture is the only time I caught 2 foxes in one snare. The female on the right was caught in the snare loop and the male was half-hitched between her and the stake. December 25, 1976.
Every time she backed up he got choked out. (Sound familiar married men?).



This gray was snared by the last few inches of his tail that was full of burdocks. He jumped between two trees and could not get a good pull to get loose.







The top of a gravel bank is always a good set.

This red female was killing lambs, she had the mange and 9 pups inside her, February 1, 1980

Snared a red fox by the tail and bobcat and fox by the paw that why I do not like deer stop. Great photo.

I'm beginning to suspect you know your way around snares.
