I would bet they flipped it over to keep the water from getting in and freezing it over the winter , when they were ready for it again, flip it back over.
one year they didn't return in the spring and there is sat.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

one year they didn't return in the spring and there is sat. That makes a whole lot of sense. I have found close to 70 tools on my farm, most for making pemmican and other food prep. There's 3 huge boulders at the camp site, by my back barn. One has 14 mortars worked in it. One has some polishing on the exposed surface, but mostly looks like a long, flat granite slab. I should try flipping it. Keith
