I have a dozen I’m going to modify with adjustable pans. Are the rods 3/8” or do they require a metric die.

I believe it is 3/8" that I threaded them, but I'd have to check to be positive. I know it was the only die I had that size laying around, and it was fine thread, so I had to buy fine thread nuts.

I’m headed to town today and am going to pick up a die. My old wood working caliper, (not super precise) showed it just a sniff under 3/8”. I need to dig out my good reloading digital caliper and check it.

I just checked a Duke with the digital caliper. It shows .352. A little shy of 3/8 (.375) but close enough it should work. FWIW it is exactly 9mm.

That sounds right. I know that the die I used didn't cut the threads quite as deep as it could, but plenty good enough to hold a nut solidly.
