That's a beautiful rifle. Not just the wood; the actions on those are mechanical artwork. Mine's just an old Glenfield model 25, on it's second refinish. I don't feel bad about butchering it to make it more practical.

I do feel better about the amount of pet hair on my chair now , don't have a couch

only carpet in the house is rugs

as for the crock nockoffs , I have the actual crocks because they do come in a 14 and 15 and up to an 18 I think I am fine with the 14 or 15

don't go more than a few steps out of bed without something on my feet , foot issues , dogs that will step on feet , stuff dogs drag in

yup . make the gun work for you , pretty but less useful is just a show peice , they are tools to be used.

I had some crocks a few over several years fir around the house and they made great shower shoes at the gym and gang showers at work to avoid athletes foot. the biggest issue I had was when thorns would get in the bottom break off and end uo poking into my feet. Sometimes they were hard to locat and remove

actually in my past , I wear them about long enough to get the coffee made , then put on real shoes

bare foot was much worse for the plantar fasciitis for me

definitely not a wear them long , just easy to get on to walk to the bathroom or to let the dogs out.
