A few days ago I was in a high altitude area where there is still a little snow left and found what I believe is porcupine scat. The next day when I returned, something had had crapped at each one of these old piles. At first I thought for sure coyote but not sure now. It's almost like a dog. It’s about the size of your finger in diameter, but there’s no hair or bone some of it’s kind of runny. It's in a remote are and didn’t see any tracks of man or beast. Does anyone know what it is?

Top one is a pet canine who eats commercial dog food.

Bottom smaller deposits are from a Grouse.

I bet someone is hunting a bird dog looking for Grouse and it marked over the Grouse.

Grouse was either drumming there or roosting. Probably drumming.
