We don't have the wind velocity that many do in the plains and mountains but it has been far windier here since last fall. looking at some 40 year old weather data from Green Bay we are definately more windy then in the past.
Lately a lot of NE, and SE wind coming off of Lake Michigan and that wind is cold, keeps a spring day cool for sure. In our area the winds are stronger, with more hours per day and night and more days of wind. We finally got some rain here. About 1 inch over the last week. Prior to that with all the wind we really got dry and we had very high areas of high fire warnings which are all most unheard of around here for April and May.
