This afternoon I made a wood/log rack to store wood by stove. I have a bunch of horse hames and made the rack from them. Nothing fancy and very crude but will have a purpose and will do a fine job to cradle the wood. I oiled them and that was about it.

Perfect it looks great.

LOL! Yep, pretty red neck and you made a great suggestion. I do plan on using some braided wire that was braided for some corner fencing on my place. Some early settler most likely over 100 years ago made the twisted wire so I will attach that across the top.

It is pretty crude and no one will it except me and a few family members, Thank God. It will do the job though.

You could spread the tops and it would double as a table if needed - would hold wood better as well on the top of the pile
