There was a thread a week or so ago about computer saws and why you do, or don't like them. We lost a white oak at the lake that got blown over and I used my computer ms400c on it. I know you can tune a saw, but to me this thing is amazing. It is like a cold crisp morning when the saw leans in just right and screams. No matter what the temp is outside, just runs perfectly. My wife and neighbors were amazed at how fast it cut.

It hit the power and jerked the mast and popped the clamp loose from the house. I am hoping I can use lags and pull it back and secure it. This old man was too tired to get a ladder and mess with it after getting the tree cleaned up. I will drag a splitter up there and split it for the fire pit sometime after it dries out a bit. Very heavy in its present state.

It’s hard to argue with the new advancements in saws, the newest generation of Stihls flat out get after it. The only “issue” I have, is I wish they’d start fuel injecting other models than just the 500i. I love my 500’s, but I think a fuel injected 661 would be awesome. Entirely too much power for the average user, but it would be my new favorite

Just finished cutting up some big cherry trees the last storm blew down across my sand mound and gas line right away. Got over 3 cords already and more to go. Wasn't planning on doing wood this early in the spring. Got a new Echo battery chain saw coming this week. Hope to see how good it works. About had shell shock from the cost of the batteries.

AK,

I thought my new Jonsered 2083 that I bought in 1998 was a brute. Not a 394 Husky but it sure did the job. Still running today.

Was out back cleaning up a tree that busted off, when I heard ANOTHER tree somewhere around me come down!
