Not sure how to feel. Sold the old truck today. Bought it with the money left to me after Dad passed in '08. She was an 04 and I got a 14 last June, since then its only been in the driveway about two weeks total. Seems every time i got it back someone else needed a loaner, so I never had it to sell. Finally last week my buddys jeep snapped the frame and Sunday we bought an 05 from the wifes grandpa for The Boy to drive in high-school, the wife will drive it for a year till he gets his license. So I sold the 04 to my buddy till it dies or he gets something else. Anyhow felt like I did as a kid selling an old farm animal, I know it was time but still...

Anyhow The Boy is happy with "his" "new" truck. He will be learning to do pads and rotors this weekend.

I remember when we drove to West Chester to trade in our old Camry for our current one. I think Chuckie got teary eyed leaving the old car!

It's hard I am letting my 04 1500 GMC go that I hit the deer with 2/1/2025 and the wife's 2000 expedition as she doesn't drive any more hardly, that Expedition my parents bought new in 2000 Dad sold it to Grandpa in 14 and I bought it from grandpa in 18

if you know anyone who needs the expedition , it runs good at 205K or the 04 gmc it has a good engine and transmission but it was going to cost me more to fix it than it was worth and my dad decided his truck was too big for him and was looking at SUVs so I bought it.
money was better spent on a rust free 13 than a rusty 04

WOW, I'm not used to seeing rusty trucks here for several states around. That's some real cancer. I thought Ford's never rusted.
