Snaring crabs is pretty neat. We don't have those crabs around here. But, I've always wondered, what part of those crabs do you eat?

Immigrants who bypassed legal process in migrating to the US demand legal process before being kicked out.

After the crabs are steamed or boiled you remove the top shell, clean out the inedible "guts" you're left with the bottom half shell, you then pick out the crabmeat from the shells partitions, and claws
You can eat as you pick, make salad, crabcakes, soups, etc.
Lot of tedious work, for not a lot of product...why crabmeat is expensive....

Y'all should stop into one of the picking houses down here and watch those ladies work. Man, they are fast and accurate.

Might trigger a few though since they may or may not speak English all that well.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Gordon Ramsey, maybe…
