Got my little brother into premature a while back. Kid loves the organized chaos of it all. Has been getting into it more and more been annoying the dog mess out of a lot of the neighbors, people really don't seem to like that her grows so much in not so traditional settings. Anyhow his snap cats been like this a lot lately

Good for him. Nothing better than fresh peaches picked right at home. I've had some peach trees here but they are hard to keep alive. Even though some varieties are supposed to be hardy enough for this zone, the winters are too hard for them.

Veteran peaches were developed in Canada. Pretty consistent here.

Those quail make some dandy bite size pickled eggs. Down side to them for us was they didn't do well on the ground. Watch out for the incubator bug as it is addictive. They hatch out about bumbel bee size and can escape faster then Houdini.

I grow a large amount of fruit and nuts and I am adding a lot more. A lot of people pasture their quail. It costs more to do so then keeping them in pens in a building, because they consume more calories and get very little nutrition from the ground. Coturnix get taller and sleeker looking in pasture pens. They get stronger on the wing and more flighty too.

Pastured birds will produce eggs with much higher omegas 3 levels though.

That's mostly true, but it depends on what forage is available in the pen. There's some very good commercial rations available that work well at producing omega 3 too.

If he’s looking at teaching music, ag might make him a more valuable teacher, he could look into FFA in college as it may give him some direction in the ag field.
