I do not own a trapper model pocket knife. I don't deserve nice things, and apparently MY spouse doesn't love me.
I bought trappers for both of my sons and they don't even trap.

Ii have an old bone handle Case that was my grandads. It has carbon steel. Stays in my safe.

I had a Queens Steel two blade fifty years ago. It was great for skinning muskrats when I worked for a fur buyer. About half of the steel blades were gone from sharpening on a big whetstone in the shop.
