I received an email from an Abigail Barnes a Business Analyst
She was wanting information on Annual NTA Convention 2025 Attendees List.

I can't figure out if she is for real or a scam. She has a real email address

Anyone else receive one of these?

Call the NTA and ask if she is legit.

Are you a board member or director at NTA? If not, I’d tell her to pound sand or try contacting asking NTA.

They are basically trying to sell you a mailing list. It's not actually the NTA that's contacting you.

Sounds off. The vendor and demo list is public knowledge as is the NTA board

I get those type of enquiries form other events as well. All of them are trying to sell you a list as mentioned above. I have gotten them about past events and a couple already about the upcoming NTA. I always block the sending email address but they keep coming from another address. Some folks must buy their lists because they keep trying to sell them.
