Harrisonburg is not that far from several battle grounds in Maryland. Plan your trip right and you can take in Gettysburg and lots of others and catch the Maryland Convention and big Crab Feed August 1 & 2. Getting to hear Ron Leggett sing is a bonus!

$105 to tailgate, man I'm getting old, Lol.....6 hrs is my max drive for a convention, but understand if you live in the deep south, or out west you have to put on some miles for a National.

13.5 hrs to Lima, OH

14.5 hrs to Springfield, MO

11 hrs to Harrisonburg, VA. Probably as close as it'll ever be in the balance of my lifetime.

Those are easy driving hours Swamp. Day trip even.

Yeah....not too bad. That's why those are the conventions I've been to....ie the close ones.

I will drive further than that for a large buck deer.

Heck yeah! I do that for a dumb turkey even. Covered up in easterns over here, so gotta drive to get after them .

I would like to be there, due to my eyesight I can no longer drive, I am hoping to find a ride to the show, I am willing to pay big bucks to someone to take me.

Harrisonburg is 3.5 hours, Spencer IA is 19.5 hours. Been to both places. Plan to be in Harrisburg but probably gonna miss Spencer this go round.
